Evening On The Upper Credit River Canada

I was out to the UC again last night (Sat) with Rob O’Reilly. The action played out pretty much the same as last night with the sulphurs coming off in good numbers and the browns coming up for them in turn.
The stretch we fished had very complicated currents so getting a drag free drift was very complicated at times… We both got into some fun little browns on the surface. While not as big as Rob’s brown from last week these fish were a blast to catch :p

Here’s one guy who seemed as impressed with the scenery as myself

In the air there were the sulphurs, some caddis and a few big Green Drakes.

You can see the amount of insects in the air here. A lot of them are midges but there were a number of egg layers dropping to the water. Not much interest in them though.
